Sales Policy

Disclaimers, Liability Exclusions or Limitations, and Indemnity

All products are sold under this warranty and disclaimer. You have to accept the following terms before ordering from Speedict : please read carefully before ordering from Speedict.

Safety Handling of Product

Electric-powered bike use high power electrical systems may pose dangers independent of using Speedict products as part of the system. It is the user's responsibility to be familiar with these dangers and take necessary action to ensure their safety use of equipment.


Before using any products from Speedict.com, you undertake and warrant that you have carefully read all instruction manuals, and following the Speedict and third party manufacturers' guidelines, and understanding all safety procedures. In purchasing these products, the user agrees to accept responsibility for all such risks, and not to hold Speedict.com responsible for any accidents, injuries to persons, or damages to property.

  • The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith. This term applicable to all items sold by Speedict.

  • The user is required to read all instruction manuals, including the safety instructions, and, in case of third party products, follow the manufacturers‘ guidelines. Speedict cannot accept responsibility for injury, crash damage, and/or loss of kits, accessories, or parts and materials that occurs during the use of any electric bike / electric bike speed controller equipped with or connected to Speedict products.

  • We accept no responsibility for improper installation of our products to your electric bike or electric bike system. It is your responsibility to precisely follow the manufacturers' instructions for your electric bike and its power system.

  • Speedict is not responsible in any way for any and all bodily injuries and/or property damages that may occur from the use of our Lithium Polymer, NiMh battery and any other third party products sold through Speedict. 

Sales to End Users Only 

Speedict.com sells and ships products to end customers only. Any person interested in distribution and resells please contact contact@speedict.com.

All sales are final. We only accept defected and damaged items for returns and exchange. Please refer to the "Warranty and return policy" for more details on Product Warranty and returns for defective and damage items. 

Return for Exchange or Refund

In the best interest of our customers, we only accept payments through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, please apply it on-line http://www.paypal.com. PayPal accepts most major credit cards for payments. If you prefer another payment method, please contact contact@speedict.com.

Payment Methods

Custom Fees and Sales Tax

The customer is responsible for any applicable customs fees and sales taxes at destination. 

Please make sure you study all order information carefully before you purchase any Speedict products. If you must cancel your order for any reason, we will make every effort to catch your order before it is shipped. For an order that is processed but cancel before it was shipped, you will be charged a 5% transaction fee or USD10.00, whichever higher. If the order was shipped, there will be an additional charge equivalent to the actual shipping and handling fee or USD10.00 whichever higher. For cancelled orders that already shipped, please refuse the package without opening it and return it to us as outlined in the return policy. We will credit your account within 2-3 working days when we receive the returned shipment unopened.

All prices listed on our website or in our catalog are subject to change without notice. Sale prices on the web site may be withdrawn at any time. Your total order price will include the price of the product plus shipping charges but will exclude custom fees and any applicable sales taxes at destination. Speedict reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on our Speedict websites at any time.

Currency

Speedict will try its best effort let you purchase items in your own currency. However we only accept currencies that are available for payment through PayPal. For orders from countries that their currency is not accepted, orders will be processed in Euro. 

Product Availability

Speedict makes every effort to ship your product according to the estimated shipping time provided at checkout. Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the shipping time provided, shipping dates may change due to changes in supply. If the shipping time changes, Speedict will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping time estimate. Once the shipment is delivered to the shipper, we will not responsible for any shipment delays, as we have no control over our shipper and foreign customs offices. Speedict reserves the right to discontinue products without notice.

Shipping and Handling

  • We ship to register PayPal shipping addresses ONLY. 

  • All items will be shipped via Hong Kong Post Air Mail Registered. The transit time is around 5 to 15 working days for North America, Australia, and major European cities, except for Italy, which will take 3-4 weeks due to their customs process. Please contact us for assistance if you do not receive your item within 4 weeks (6 week for Italy) after your payment and we will investigate the problem.

  • Insurance is optional. We will not be liable for damages and/or any losses in transit if optional insurance is not purchased.

  • Tracking of Hong Kong Post Air Mail Registered packages is provided by the Hong Kong Post Office, we will email the tracking number to the buyer upon shipment.

  • The buyer is responsible for all subsequent shipping and handling fee(s) for non-delivery due to incorrect shipping address unless the non-delivery is caused by our errors.

Warranty and return policy 

‚ÄčAll Speedict products, unless otherwise stated, is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of your original purchase. 

Exclusion to the Limited Warranty

We offer NO WARRANTY to the included software, driver and firmware. See the Software license agreement for more information on Software restrictions. 
We offer NO WARRANTY in cases of damage in transit, inadequate care or neglect, abuses, abnormal use, misuse, accidents, servicing not authorized by us, failure to follow product instructions, improper installation, improper storage or maintenance of the products, or causes not arising out of defects in materials and workmanship. 
This limited warranty does not cover damages caused by problems with electrical power. 

Defective Items

Damaged Items

Items that are damaged during shipping will be replaced free of charges. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please follow the "Procedure for Warranty Claims and Return Authorization" to send the item back to us. The buyer is responsible for return shipment expenses, so for your own benefit, please inspect your purchase immediate upon receiving the item and refuse the delivery if you find damages to avoid paying return shipment expenses.

Procedure for Warranty, Defective and Damaged item Claims and Return Authorization 

For Warranty Claims, please email Speedict to get a RMA # and return instructions. Packages must be carefully packed, have the RMA # we issue clearly labeled and printed on the package's exterior, and sent to the address we provide. Packages that do not meet these requirements will neither be accepted nor returned. The buyer is responsible for return shipment expenses.
To claim a defective or damaged return, contact contact@speedict.com within 3 days after arrival. Our engineer will evaluate the returned item and discuss with you whether or not you are qualified for a return. Return the item in full, along with the packaging within 7 days after our RMA engineer confirms the return qualification. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and we will make a replacement or credit depending on our inventory. Units returned and found non-defective will be returned at the buyer's expenses. Returns after the 7 days period will not be accepted, however buyers can contact us for warranty.
